Mobile network congestion has been reported across Delhi. Users report congestion, call drops at several locations. Sources said that there seems to be no immediate end to problems in sight. Cellphone companies are seeking the intervention of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. Authorities are silent on user problems. On March 17, CNBC-TV18 had reported that millions of mobile users in the national capital may soon face major connectivity problems as the Delhi government may begin sealing of illegal mobile towers soon as the one-month deadline to operators to submit relevant documents expires. With cellphone companies failing to comply with norms and hasty action leading to user problems, no respite is seen for the mobile user.
