Optima Marketing Solutions has roped in Murali Krishnan as Vice President Creative and Ravi Krishnan as Associate Vice President Creative in its process to strengthen its creative team. Optima, is a full service marketing Solutions agency offering end-to-end & customized marketing solutions which caters to the growing requirements of Indian companies for the domestic and global markets.
Prior to joining Optima, Murali has had a four and half year stint with TBWA/Anthem where he spearheaded award winning campaigns for Apple and Le Royal Meridien. Murali started his career as a calculator salesman and got his big break in advertising as a trainee copywriter at R K Swamy/BBDO. In a short span of six years he rose to become a full fledged Creative Director with an exposure to a wide variety of brands across categories.
Murali also dons many hats; he is a qualified designer and as a hobby pursues sound engineering, dabbles with video editing and takes lectures in advertising. He is currently involved with writing a book on Unadvertising.
Prior to joining Optima, Ravi headed a creative shop that catered to regional and retail brands which later on went on to merge with Crayons to start their Chennai Operations. Ravi started his career in Speer and Trikaya Grey (Delhi) and has serviced various divisions. He has worked on a gamut of brand campaigns for Adidas, Oral-B, Nestle, Mother Dairy Ice Cream, ICI Paints, DLF, JK Tyres, Atlas Cycles, Usha Fans, Sprint RPG and Hindustan Times amongst others.
Ravi believes great communication should work wonders in the marketplace, not just in award shows. Ravi stresses on creating brand difference that's relevant to the target audience while keeping a brand's core essence and personality intact and that's what he plans to offer the clients of Optima.
On the new talent aboard, Raj Narain, says, "The appointments are a fantastic way for our rapid progress. The Creative team at Optima will be a formidable one with both bringing in varied experience and insight on brands. Murali and Ravi will foster a remarkably strong team to lead creativity at Optima.
