In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Manu Parpia, founder and managing director of Geometric Soft spoke about the latest happenings in his company and the road ahead. Below is an edited transcript of the interview. Also watch the accompanying video. Q: There is some talk in the market that promoters could look to sell some of their stake. Is that true and if so what's the reason for that? A: I am one of the promoters so I can only talk on my behalf. I am not looking to sell any stake so I don't know. There seems to be lot of rumors that go around. Q: But I am sure you would have known if someone was? A: I would expect to know. I don't see any stake sell so I don't want to get into commenting on this. Rumors have gone around so often I don't see value in it. And if I keep commenting it will just add more. Q: Then can we take it for sure that 6.8% stake that you hold is not going anywhere in the near future or forever? A: Yes. Nothing can be said, I won't look for others. Q: What about the institutional holding? You have a lot of institutional holdings, big names such as RBS etc. Have you heard anyone, who might be interested in off loading certain amount of stake partially or completely? A: I have not asked, I don't look at it and I focus on running the business. This is my objective and this is what I am paid to do. So, I want to focus on that because the more you start chasing shadows, the bigger problem will run into running your company. It is not a huge company. It's a mid size company so management has to focus on running it. Q: Then let's focus on your business. You are set to launch the new CAMWorks express package. How are you expecting that to add to your bottomline? A: All these things are incremental. It's not going to jump the revenue. This is an attempt to look at a lower market size to see whether there is a need in the market for this kind of product. So we have to check and see how it works.
