Corporate Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid today said that the arrest of R Vasudevan, the Company Law Board (CLB) official who was caught red handed by the CBI accepting bribe does not put a question mark on the Mahindra Satyam deal.

"The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has an autonomous independent investigative mandates and whatever the ministry has done is based on SFIO investigation. There is no reason for any one to feel that there is any thing lacking and that will become apparent once the courts proceed on the matter."

No favour is being given to Mahindra over the Satyam deal, said Khurshid, adding that there were several levels of scrutiny involved in Satyam case.
