Nipuna Services Ltd ., the BPO arm of Satyam (NYSE:SAY) and World's First eSCM Capability Level 4 Service Provider, today announced that the company has been awarded the "Best Established Indian ITeS Company" by the Hyderabad Software Exporters Association [HYSEA]. Nipuna had won the 'Best Indian ITeS Company' award last year.

The award instituted by HYSEA is aimed to recognize the contribution of IT and ITeS companies in various areas like Quality, Product Innovation, Export Turnover, Social Service, etc. The contenders of the award were Hyderabad based Indian ITeS companies, with turnover of up to Rs. 100 crores in 2005-06. The evaluation process was based on the export turnover of the companies as filed with the STPI.

Speaking about the award, Mr. Venkatesh Roddam, CEO, Nipuna, said, "We are extremely honored to receive the HYSEA 'Best Established Indian ITeS Company' award. The award further validates our efficiency, capabilities and acknowledges our sustained efforts in offering the best."

Nipuna has been honored for its process excellence by other organizations, too. Recently, Nipuna became the First Indian BPO to win the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award for 'Large-Scale Service Industry' category instituted by the Bureau of Indian Standards. Nipuna also has the distinction of being world's first eSCM capability level 4 service provider. The certificate is given by the IT Services Qualification Center (ITsqc) at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
