
NEWGEN to provide healthcare solution on Toshiba Tablet PCs
NEWGEN Software Inc., a leading provider of solutions to healthcare, banking, financial and insurance sectors through its expertise in Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Document Management (EDM) and Imaging, announced today it will begin bundling its healthcare solutions onto Toshiba's family of Tablet PCs for resale. This collaborative solution will facilitate seamless, quick, and on-the-go access to various medical documents for NEWGEN Software customers.

This innovative solution is ideal for doctors, medical professionals and practitioners requiring anytime, anywhere access to various documents, such as medical records, lab tests, reports, patient charts, bills, among several other documents, stored at a central server, from their Toshiba Tablet PCs. The solution would ensure secure transmission and rights-based access to sensitive medical data. The NEWGEN solution is based on its highly acclaimed BPM platform, OmniFlow and EDM platform, OmniDocs.
The bundled solution is the result of NEWGEN Software becoming part of Toshiba Solutions Provider Program for healthcare and life sciences markets, sponsored by the Digital Products Division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc.
