Newgen Software Technologies limited, a leader in the field of Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is pleased to announce that it has won the CNBC-TV18 & ICICI Bank Emerging India Awards that honour the best small and medium enterprises in India. The award was felicitated in a grand ceremony in London yesterday by the Honorable Commerce Minister, Kamalnath and India's steel tycoon, L N Mittal to Mr. Diwakar Nigam, Managing Director, Newgen Software in the "IT enabled Services (ITeS)" category.

 

The Emerging India Awards are considered among India's biggest business awards. It is a pioneering initiative to promote and recognize the undying entrepreneurial spirit of India's most globally competitive SMEs. The theme for the award this year was 'Think Global Go Global'. The award this year was judged across 17 categories. Newgen emerged as a winner in the "IT enabled Services (ITeS)" category and is recognized as an Indian software company redefining Indian business' stature on the global map.

 

Sharing his sentiments on the occasion, Mr. Diwakar Nigam, MD, Newgen Software said "I am proud to accept this award on behalf of the entire Newgen family. This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of each and every employee of Newgen. It also goes to our customers whose feedback and support has helped us become what we are today. I would compliment CNBC TV-18 and ICICI Bank for taking this noble initiative to institute these awards and acknowledging our efforts."
