Mitsubishi Motors dealer in Gurgaon, Chanakya Motors has moved into a classy new showroom. The 3S dealership was inaugurated by Mr. Ravi Santhanam the Managing Director of Hindustan Motors Ltd. Chanakya Motors will continue to offer world-class sales and service experience to Mitsubishi customers in Gurgaon. Mitsubishi Motors full product range including Lancer, Cedia, Pajero and Montero will be available at this dealership.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ravi Santhanam said, "By the end of calendar year 2008, we will have 45 dealer locations pan India and North India will continue to be in our focus where we already have 10 dealerships.” Chanakya Motors has relocated its dealership and has added a state-of-the-art service centre.
The primary reasons for the relocation are that there has been a significantly greater demand for Mitsubishi vehicles in the region since the company has launched several world-class products and Chanakya Motors has been repeatedly delivering top notch service to its customers. Gurgaon region’s premium car market in particular has been growing at a tremendous pace as many car buyers from here and nearby cities are upgrading from smaller cars to premium cars of which Mitsubishi has a wide range to offer.
Mitsubishi has taken leadership position in the Premium SUV segment in India with legendary Pajero and the Dakar rally winner ‘All New Montero’ doing well in their respective segments. Mitsubishi intends to further consolidate its position with the launch of Outlander, the urban SUV , later this year. The Mitsubishi Cedia available in petrol and ALPG as well as Lancer currently available in petrol and diesel make up for the rest of the product line-up in India.
