What distinguishes the ‘NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards’ from most other Business awards is the stringent six stage nomination and selection process which it follows.
As a first stage, the NDTV Profit content team along with the Business Process Advisors for these awards- Grant Thornton- has decided on a wide range of 20 verticals. The second stage which involves the development of nomination parameters is created by conducting detailed research based on one financial or non financial parameter. The short listed nominees are then ranked according to the pre decided parameters. Following this, a questionnaire is rolled out in order to validate and get additional information. The top 5–6 companies are then reviewed. A detailed collation of the data available for these companies is then developed for evaluation by the jury. The final stage is when the awardees are decided upon by a renowned jury comprising well known names in the Indian economy and Business.
