NAVs soar as market continue with bull rally

Equity funds continued with uptrend owing to positive market outlook. The BSE benchmark rose 102.35 points, to close at 17,707.31. Meanwhile, the NSE benchmark gained 35.80 points to 5,361.65.


Equity funds continued with uptrend owing to positive market outlook. The brooder indices Large cap and Small & Mid cap were up by over 1 % which resulted the funds in the respective category to end with positive returns. Among others, Diversified Equity, ELSS and Balanced ended in green witnessing no losers in any category.


The sectoral funds led the market rally. Barring Pharma & Healthcare, all the other sector funds advanced.


Experts are cautious now as the market has been going in one way direction. The BSE benchmark rose 102.35 points, to close at 17,707.31. Meanwhile, the NSE benchmark gained 35.80 points to 5,361.65. 


In the debt market, Long term debt funds ended mixed while Short term debt funds witnessed surge. No declines were witnessed in any short term fund category. Meanwhile advance: decline ratio recorded for Long term and Gilt Long term funds were 59: 13 and 13: 34 respectively. (Click here to know more on Debt funds instrument)
