MSPL Gases Limited, as part of their expansion plan, today installed 50 tons per day "Air Separation Plant" on build-own-operate basis for Steel Authority of India Limited - Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant at Bhadravati, Shimoga District, Karnataka. MSPL Gases Limited is part of Baldota Group, the leading Corporate Business House in India engaged in Iron Ore Mining, Wind Power and leading producer of industrial gases in South India.

 

The plant was inaugurated by Shri Roy Choudhury, Executive Director of SAIL-VISL. This is the first Indian Tonnage Plant of its kind which is more suitable in meeting flexible demands of medium size steel plants.  With this part of the expansion "BOO OXYGEN PLANT", Baldota Group will increase the volume of its Gas Division from 10.00 million to 22.00 million cum per annum.

 

Shri Narendra Kumar Baldota, Chief Managing Director of MSPL Gases Limited presided over the inaugural function. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Baldota said, "We as MSPL are extremely proud to be associated with Steel Authority of India.  We are confident that this new Air Separation Plant will meet all the requirements of SAIL exceeding their expectations.  We have further initiated a dialogue with the captive customers in South India for setting up of similar kind of "BOO Oxygen Plant."
