Mobile Magic, India’s first and largest retail chain of Mobile Supermarkets, today announced the launch of its four showrooms in Pune, India. With this Mobile Magic have 40 showrooms across India. The new showrooms will have more than 100 multibrand handset models on sale with the authorised multibrand repairing facility, accessories; software downloads for all major brands in addition to prepaid / postpaid SIM cards. All these showrooms will be operational from Saturday, September 23, 2006.
Mr. Vijay Singh, CEO, Mobile Magic said, “We aim to bring all mobile-phone related services to our customers under one roof and at competitive rates. We already have 1 store in Pune at M.G. Road.. Launch of 4 more stores in Pune, is one more step towards achieving our aim of providing complete spectrum of mobile related services across India.”
Mr. Singh further added, “We started our operations with focus on tier II & tier II cities and are now are moving to the metros. These showrooms will be run on ‘franchisee owned company operated model’ .We already have 21 showrooms in rest of Maharshtra and will increase this number to 50 by end of this year. There is a huge opportunity in the mobile servicing and technology segments as far as metros are concerned and our strength in these segments is unmatched.”
