MindTree Ltd. (NSE: MINDTREE), a global IT and R&D Services company, today announced that it has been named to the 2008 Global Outsourcing 100 list by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). This year MindTree improves in the rankings to 54th, up from 68 in 2007, while also being named one of the “20 best companies by services offered” in the category of product research, development and manufacture. The list is published in the May 5th issue of Fortune magazine.
Winners were chosen through an evaluation process that considers four key criteria:
- Size and growth in revenue, employees, development centers, and countries served
- Customer experience as demonstrated through the value created at the company’s top customers
- Depth and breadth of competencies as demonstrated through industry recognition, relevant certifications and investment in the development of people, processes, and technologies
- Management capabilities as reflected in the experience and accomplishments of the business’s top leaders and its investment in management systems that ensure outsourcing success.
