One of the most exciting and successful sports cars in the world has just arrived in India for the first time: the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. Today the beguiling Sports cars were unveiled at the hands of Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, MD and CEO, Mercedes–Benz India Pvt. Ltd along with Mr. Mohan Mariwala, MD, Auto Hangar (I) Pvt. Ltd. The CLK 350 & 4 door coupe CLS 320 CDI were also showcased at the festival. In India Auto Hangar has been the first partner for Mercedes-Benz .
AMG’s are very special products from Mercedes-Benz. In the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) the new AMG C-Class ensures exciting motor racing at the highest level. And now its road-going sister model is celebrating its debut: the new C 63 AMG. The combination of expressive design, a decidedly sporty interior and superb everyday practicality makes the C 63 AMG a unique high-performance vehicle.
Dr. Aulbur on the occasion said, “AMG - these three letters embody cutting-edge technology, dynamism and exclusivity. This is a very special day for both Mercedes-Benz and Auto Hangar as we showcase this exquisite piece of fine machinery for the first time in India. The dangerously practical C63 AMG with numerous USP’s accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. I am sure that with this exciting buffet of high technology, fun-to-drive and sporty models from the Mercedes-Benz stable will definitely appeal to your sense of driving pleasure!”
Mr. Mohan Mariwala, MD Auto Hangar commented, “In India, Mercedes-Benz has pioneered the luxury car market. With the wide publicity of the three point star known exclusively for its coupe’s and saloon’s, The Auto Hangar Sports festival is bringing forth the sporty F1 engineered offerings like the C 63 AMG to the Indian audiences.”
The CLS 320 CDI and the CLK 350 cabriolet showcased were the other attractions for the day. The letter combination CLK has denoted excitement and driving pleasure for many years. This breathtaking vehicle is a sheer experience in luxury and is a Cabriolet offering from the Mercedes-Benz stable. From its spectacular sporty look, this super luxury car is truly a dream machine.
