Megasoft Ltd, a technology solutions provider, has announced its global partnership with Telecom New Zealand to offer integrated solutions to mobile network operators, including managed and hosted applications.

The deal is two-pronged. While Xius, the products arm of Megasoft would deploy its products and manage TNZ's facility, they will together market a range of solutions.

The Chief Executive Officer of Megasoft, Mr G.V. Kumar, said this deal would mean an investment of about $2-3 million in infrastructure and creating a dedicated workforce to address TNZ requirements.

While during this financial year it could yield up to $1 million in revenues, it has the potential to offer about $5 million in a fiscal year.

"Apart from an integrated telecom services provider, TNZ also manages several networks in the region and some markets in the US and Europe.

Having a base in Los Angeles, we plan to create a facility that would provide hosted application service provider based solutions. The revenues would be through transactions," he said.
