Megasoft teams up with Telecom NZ
Megasoft Ltd, a technology solutions provider, has announced its global partnership with Telecom New Zealand to offer integrated solutions to mobile network operators, including managed and hosted applications.
"We would retrain some of the resources of VisualSoft to handle telecom solutions. Though the employees of VisualSoft were engaged with a telecom and Motorola project, some fine-tuning of their skills would open up a large talent pool," he said.
The alliance mandate is to offer range of solutions, including roaming and infrastructure solutions, for mobile network operators and mobile virtual network operators.
Visualsoft Merger
On the Megasoft and VisualSoft merger process, Mr Kumar said that most of the regulatory issues have been addressed. By the end of the month, the company expects to complete all the formalities relating to stock exchanges. Following this, an application would be made to the High Court, which would convene an EGM for shareholders approval.
"Subject to shareholders' clearances, the entire process of merger would be completed by January-February. However, effective October 1, we would reflect a common balance sheet," he explained.
Megasoft shares ended lower at Rs 121.75 on the NSE against its previous close of Rs 123.85.
