The Maytas matter came up for mentioning before the CLB and Maytas Infra has got relief within the mentioning hearing. CNBC-TV18's Pranshu Sikka reports.

Maytas was seeking an extension for the period to file the reply and they have been given a two day extension now. The hearing on Maytas Infra case will now take place on February 26 instead of February 24. However, Maytas Property was denied an extension and they will still have to present the story on February 24.

Interestingly, the Judge observed that the grounds on which Maytas Property was asking for an extension which was that both the cases of Maytas Infra and Maytas Property could be clubbed together on February 26 did not hold much ground and he also observed that Maytas Property had not followed the due procedure for seeking an extension and thus it would not be given to them.

So, the hearing of Maytas Infra on February 26 but Maytas Property will still have to reply on February 24.
