MetricStream, the market leader in enterprise-wide Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) and Quality Management solutions, today announced that Maxim Healthcare Services has selected the MetricStream solution to automate its key quality and compliance business processes designed to ensure delivery of superior medical staffing, home health care and wellness services.
Maxim will implement MetricStream's solutions for managing audits, executing corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans and for handling customer complaints. The solutions will be deployed on the MetricStream Enterprise Compliance Platform, an integrated framework for supporting all compliance and quality processes in a company and for driving effective risk management and corporate governance. By improving operational efficiencies in quality systems, the solutions will lower the cost of compliance and help create a transparent environment for proactively identifying, tracking and resolving quality issues
Established in 1988 to address the nursing shortage, Maxim has since evolved to service every sector of the healthcare industry. Today, Maxim employs more than 56,000 clinicians, allied health professionals, physicians and administrative personnel, and most of its offices are accredited.
"Powerful IT systems are critical to Maxim's mission to offer high-quality healthcare," said Tom Rawlings, National Director of Corporate Compliance at Maxim Healthcare Services. “We initiated the process of selecting a robust compliance and quality system, evaluating proven qualities of the application, implementation capabilities and the cost of ownership. At the end of the evaluation process, the MetricStream solution emerged as our preferred choice. It comes with rich out-of-the-box features and the flexibility to be expanded and modified to meet our future needs.”
"We are pleased that Maxim has selected our solution to streamline their key business processes", said Shankar Bhaskaran, Head – Asia Pacific of MetricStream. “Healthcare companies have to comply with stringent patient safety requirements and industry standards. MetricStream's solution continues to be the leading choice for such organizations as it provides an integrated application environment to manage compliance with multiple regulations, corporate policies and quality standards.”
