MAUJ, a leading wireless solutions provider and the flagship brand of People Infocom, today announced that the company has signed on to develop mobile content for QUALCOMM's BREW®. As part of this agreement, MAUJ will develop BREW applications such as video ringtones and location based services, as well as ‘m-Premiere,’ an application that allows users to preview and buy mobile content through a rich user interface. As part of this initiative, MAUJ will also introduce some of its popular games to BREW, including Super Cricket 2007, Jurassic Adventure and Airy Tales.
“People Infocom and MAUJ have always believed in innovating with products and services catering to the mobile value added services space. “It is an exciting time for the VAS industry in India. To create a healthy and profitable wireless ecosystem QUALCOMM has consistently provided solutions that enable developers to innovate and explore new concepts while creating compelling content for mobile users,” said Rakesh Godhwani, manager, mobile content and applications, QUALCOMM India and SAARC. “We are delighted to welcome MAUJ to the BREW community and we look forward to them leveraging the flexibility of the BREW solution to further enhance the look and feel of their applications and make them available for a larger audience.”
