Any bears who missed out yesterday can take fresh short positions this week, says Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com.
Market today got a brief respite after days of constant declines. Nifty witnessed a rise of 73 points to 8,002 at market close. Sensex, too, snapped its six-day losing streak with a 0.7 percent gain, ending at 25,960 points.
However, Gujral says the pull-backs from today's trade gives the bears fresh ammunition to go short. Today's recovery is not going to last very long.
Ambareesh Baliga, a market expert, says for the long-term investor, the current market condition is a great buying opportinity. The market, after about 2-3 months of uncertainty, is bound to do well.
Demonetisation has only led to a temporary slowdown in consumption, says Baliga. It can not disrupt the long-term positive consumption story of India.
