CNBC TV 18 , India's leading business news channel along with U-21 Graduate School for Global Leaders announced Marico Ltd as the winner of The Employer of Choice Awards-2007.

CNBC TV 18-The Employer of Choice Awards is the pre-eminent awards in the Human Resource space. The award determines India's Best Companies to work for, and this is largely dependent on the ability of organizations to keep pace with changing employee expectations and about alignment between these expectations, business direction and people practices. As part of the Employer of Choice Award Categories for the year 2007, a poll was conducted for viewers of CNBC-TV18, CNBC Awaaz and Moneycontrol.com asking the viewers & jobseekers which business conglomerate would they like to work with. Infosys Technologies received a thumping response and bagged the Viewers Choice - New Age Employer of Choice Award 2007, while Tata Group won CNBC-TV18 Viewers Choice - Diversified Business House of Choice. Reliance Industries Ltd emerged as the Jobstreet Jobseeker's Employer of Choice.

It is with this perspective that CNBC-TV18, India's leading business medium in association with U21 Global, has instituted India's Employer of Choice Awards. This pioneering initiative benchmarks the better against the best in the country and helps to recognize the companies who have managed to evolve, innovate and adapt themselves so as to set new standards in people practices not only in India but also across the world.
