Vijay Mallya has told Kingfisher Airlines employees that their March salaries would be paid to them this month, inform CNBC-TV18 sources. It is learnt that Mallya assured employees that the fund raising plans of the company is being arranged and he is in talks with investors for the same.
He also said that the airline will be recapitalized via foreign direct investment or otherwise. He also said that employees disrupting flight operation is not a solution and he is taking all efforts to disburse salaries. A section of Kingfisher Airlines pilots and engineers stayed off work on Wednesday, forcing the airline to cancel 26 flights across the country, including four from the city.
