Travelers across the country now have the convenience of accessing bus tickets online. MakeMyTrip offers customers the opportunity to book tickets for destinations across the largest network quickly, safely and with the option of selecting their seats. As a special offer, MakeMyTrip is also offering a 20% cash-back to travellers on all bus tickets booked on the website.
Speaking on this initiative, Rajnish Kapur, Chief Information Officer at MakeMyTrip said, “Till now, bus travellers had access to resources with limited scope to serve them since most offline operators are allocated only a specific quota of tickets. MakeMyTrip now offers them 24X7 access to a real-time system at their own convenience. Further, our large network of aggregators ensures that travellers can find tickets online that are unavailable offline. We expect an enthusiastic response to our latest offering.”

Travelers can click on the bus ticket booking option on MakeMyTrip in order to feed in details regarding points and dates of departure and destination and seat-of-choice based on the seat map provided. Once booking details are confirmed, payment can be made either through a credit card, a debit card, cash card or an internet enabled online bank account. Bus tickets booked through MakeMyTrip are e-tickets which can be printed at the time of booking or can be emailed and printed at a later date.
