A day earlier, the Minister and the delegation were felicitated by the Federation of Industries of Luxembourg (FEDIL) where the captains of Indian Steel Industry exchanged views with the leaders of industry of Luxembourg.
The delegation also visited the facilities of PaulWurth, a major technology supplier to the Steel industry globally.
Before their arrival in Luxembourg, the delegation had already visited the Ijmuiden plant of CORUS Steel which is supposed to be one of the best in the world with a Blast Furnace productivity of around 3.5 tonnes/cu.m./day. The delegation also held discussions on the possible technology tie-up with CORUS Consultancy and Danieli CORUS for the Expansion/Modernisation Plan of SAIL and RINL.
