IT bellwether Infosys Technologies has won a USD 200 million deal, CNBC-TV18 quoted CEO Kris Gopalakrishnan as saying. "Large deals are back in demand. We expect the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) and telecom sectors to show the largest traction," he said.

In financial year 2010-11, Infosys will focus on winning patents - there are as much as 219 patents pending - the CEO said.

Infosys is also bidding acquisition projects in the consulting verticals and was investing largely in Germany, France and South America, Gopalakrishnan said.

"We made 15,000 campus offers for FY11," he said.
