Lanco Infratech will invest Rs 13 billion to set up a 150 MW plant in Orissa based on polysilicon technology, a senior company official told NewsWire18. "Lanco Solar, a 100% arm of Lanco Infratech, will set up the plant. The total investment will be around Rs 13 billion," he said on the sidelines of the India Economic Summit organised by the World Economic Forum. He said the company had appointed Axis Bank as the lead arranger for tying up the debt, which will be around Rs 10 billion. "Half of the debt has already been tied up. The rest should be tied up in two-three months," he said. Some government approvals, including environmental clearance, are yet to come, he said.
