KLM Royal Dutch Airlines along with its partner Northwest Airlines today launched an improved version of their online booking tool in the Indian market offering the “best price” assurance for passengers booking travel on www.klm.com
Speaking at the launch, Mr Warner Rootliep, General Manager, KLM – Northwest India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka & Maldives said, “In the last couple of years Indian customers have got accustomed to using online booking engines for domestic air travel. We are hopeful that with our new booking tool, which offers the best prices for KLM – Northwest air tickets at any given time, www.klm.com will emerge as the preferred channel for customers booking international travel to European and North American destinations.”
Improved Online Booking Engine
The new online booking tool on www.klm.com makes booking air travel a more transparent and convenient process. Passengers can view the lowest INR fares available on and around a particular date through a unique colour coded calendar tool. Passengers who are flexible in their travel schedule can easily find out on what date / flight they can enjoy the cheapest fares for their destination and book their travel accordingly. With the new features, the process of booking air travel is more transparent than ever before. KLM’s online booking tool also offers added conveniences like the possibility to modify bookings online and multiple payment options – passengers can pay by credit card and receive their e-ticket at home or choose to pay by cash / credit card in person at a KLM – Northwest ticket counter.
“Best Price” feature on KLM.com
One of the biggest attractions of the new online booking tool is the “Best Price” feature it offers. This means that on any given day passengers can expect to find the lowest fares for any KLM – Northwest destination online on www.klm.com.
Market research shows that price is the primary reason why customers choose to buy tickets online. KLM’s new “Best Price” feature ensures that a customer always finds the lowest fare available online for the same KLM / Northwest flight, itinerary and cabin at any given time on www.klm.com
