KLG Systel Ltd., India's leading knowledge-based IT-centric Business Life Cycle Solutions company, in collaboration with SAP has developed a path-breaking solution - Vidushi™ to suit the specific functional requirements of the Power Sector. The software is targeted at State Electricity Boards, Private Utilities and other organizations managing power distribution.

Vidushi™ is developed on SAP Netweaver® and is designed to complement the functionalities of SAP IS-Utilities (Industry Solutions for Utilities) to meet the specific needs of the electricity distribution utilities. It is a combination of hardware, software and business processes which enable customers to reduce losses, achieve billing accuracy, improve network operations, customer services and energy accounting.

Vidushi™ and SAP IS - Utilities enable electricity distribution utilities to work efficiently and effectively. SAP IS-Utilities includes components like Master Data, Device Management, Billing & Invoicing, Customer Service, Intercompany Data Exchange and so on. Vidushi is designed to provide a web based solution for GIS based Consumer Indexing and Loss Analysis Solution to the distribution utilities to improve on their profitability. This provides various analysis and simulation tools to optimize the distribution network and help in network expansion planning.

Vidushi™ runs on SAP Netweaver and is integrated with SAP Enterprise Portal Business Package. SAP NetWeaver is a composition platform that allows composing new business solutions while obtaining more business value from the existing IT investments.

KLG Systel will use Vidushi™ and SAP IS - Utilities to execute key projects. Backed by extensive experience and expertise in the Utilities business, KLG Systel will also use its state-of-the-art Project Management tools for the timely execution of these projects. Jamshedpur Utilities Company (JUSCO) is an early adopter customer to implement the joint SAP and KLG solution for the Utility Industry.
