Kingfisher-Deccan merger may be on the anvil

The merger between Kingfisher-Deccan may soon be a reality. Air Deccan MD, Captain Gopinath said that the Deccan Board is considering the proposed merger, and a final decision may be taken in 2-3 months, reports CNBC-TV18.

 

"The Board is going to take a decision. When it is to the benefit of Air Deccan and Kingfisher together, it will be to the benefit of the combined airline. Only then, will a decision be taken and this will take about 2-3 months time," said Gopinath.
