Kingfisher Airlines plans to more than double its fleet strength, reports CNBC-TV18. The private airliner plans to add 67 more aircraft from 2012.
Deliveries of the new aircraft are expected to start from 2012. About 67 new aircrafts are to be delivered over the next six years.
Kingfisher's current fleet includes 42 Airbus 320 and 15 Airbus 330. The fleet includes 10 Airbus 350 and 380 planes.
The airliner may take delivery of six Airbus 320, four Airbus 330 in 2012. Nine Airbus 320 and three Airbus 330 are likely to be delivered in 2013. Forty-five aircrafts are likely to be delivered between 2014 and 2016.
