Its celebration time for kids! Oxford Bookstores Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi are hosting a 10-day exhibition, exclusively for children between June 16- June 25. UTI Bank has tied up with Oxford Bookstore as the principle sponsor for this fantabulous exhibition titled Kids' Own Oxford Bookstore Sale 2006.

 

The Exhibition is being hosted by Oxford Bookstore as an endeavour to enthuse and encourage the habit of reading among kids.  Thus, the sale will ensure the availability of a wide range of books with attractive discounts up to 60%.

 

In fact, colouring books, activity books, board books, fairy tales, myths and fables, Harry Potter, Dr Seuss, Mary Kate and Ashley, Mysteries and Thrillers, Fantasy and books on romance are some of the major categories that will be available with attractive discounts.  The selection of titles has been made keeping popular titles and reading habits of children in perspective.

 

Meanwhile, Oxford Bookstore is pleased to have also forged a pan India alliance with Mattel Toys.  All stores will host a Barbie and Hotwheel painting competitions during the second week of the Exhibition.

 

According to Mr Rajiv Chowdhry, CEO, Apeejay, Oxford Bookstore, "This is the first time that Oxford Bookstore is hosting an exclusive exhibition for kids.   We are optimistic that there will be an overwhelming response from children since we have made an all-out effort to provide a wide and interesting array of titles. We would also like to emphasize that this exhibition is being held because we believe it is our responsibility to ensure that reading retains its popularity among children."

 

Meanwhile, all children's books will be available on at least 10% discount - going up to 60%.  Apart from books, CD Roms, Funskool products and Mattel toys will also be available at all stores on 5 % discount.

 

Furthermore, all Priority Banking UTI debit cardholders will enjoy an additional 10 per cent discount on merchandize that will be available on "discount" offer at the stores. UTI Bank will also facilitate in-store promotions to energize the exhibition.
