Khodays launches ‘Red Knight’ whisky in Bangalore
Khodays India Ltd ., a multi-faceted, multi-billion dollar conglomerate, today announced the launch of their new and smooth “Red Knight” whisky.
Building on the unprecedented success of Red Knight whisky in North India , where the introduction of new packaging and a smoother taste had catapulted the brand several notches up in the highly competitive on – premise trade, Khodays believes they can rework that magic here too.
The new packaging maintains the familiar equity of the hourglass-shaped bottle but adds a classic, vintage flair with “Red Knight finest blended malt whisky” embossed into the package in bold curved type .The whisky has been blended anew, with the connoisseur’s taste in mind. This vibrant packaging is also priced just right for the discerning whisky lover.
The introduction of this new Red Knight whisky marks a watershed event in the growth of the IMFL market. The current IMFL market is estimated to be at 148 million cases annually, in which Khodays has a share of 6 lakh cases and Red Knight forms a behemoth part of it with 2 lakh cases annually. It is likely to touch annual sales of 10 lakh cases by the end of the financial year.
