KG-D6: RIL doesn't have all approvals for satellite fields

Contrary to popular belief Reliance Industries still doesn't have all the requisite approvals to develop the satellite fields at the KG-D6, which the company says is necessary to hike the gas output that is now languishing at record lows.

It seems RIL on January 3 only received an in principle approval and was told to revert with details of budget and minimum work programme.

So, while RIL has submitted those documents, it will lose out on further time by missing out on this weather window.
