Q: Yesterday the Indian Railways, the ministry said that they have seen a growth of close to about 12-12.5% in this April to June quarter. Since you all provide these anti-collision devices, could you tell us what's the kind of growth you all see as a company particularly since we have seen so many train mishaps now?
A: As far as the approval of the anti-collision to Indian Railways is concerned we are the technology partners of the Konkan Railways.
We should be doing upgradation of about 1800 kms track along the Northeast Frontier Railways costing nearly Rs 50-Rs 60 crore this year.
Besides that Kernex is also doing the 136 gates, which are in progress. The situation in Egypt is normal now and we are going ahead with the project and it is running on time there.
The company is also expecting last minute final approvals for the supply of Multi-section Digital Axle to the Indian Railways and that should give us good revenue. So we expect to double our revenue this year.
