Karur Vysya Bank aims total business of Rs 72Kcr in FY12

Karur Vysya Bank is aiming to generate total business of Rs 72,000 crore during the current financial year, a top official has said.

Karur Vysya Bank aims total business of Rs 72Kcr in FY12
Karur Vysya Bank is aiming to generate total business of Rs 72,000 crore during the current financial year, a top official has said.


The private sector bank registered total business of Rs 58,000 crore, Karur Vysya Bank Managing Director and CEO K Venkataraman said in a statement.


"The bank is targeting a total business of Rs 72,000 crore for the current fiscal. The present business level is at Rs 58,000 crore," he said.


He said the bank aims to register a total business of Rs 1.25 lakh crore by 2016, which would be its centenary year.


He said the bank would set up 100 branches across the country during this financial year.
