On the occasion of Children's Day, Jet Airways, India 's premier airline, once again operated a 45-minute  "Flight of Fantasy" today for unprivileged children from NGOs Magic Bus, VISA, and special young adults from Sraddha Charitable Trust for the Autistic and Mentally Challenged.

 

This celebration was both enjoyable and memorable as these special guests enjoyed this flight along with renowned film celebrities Vidya Balan and Arshad Warsi.

 

The event started with jugglers and a magician displaying their skills at the Oberoi Lounge of the domestic Terminal 1B of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport , Mumbai. The children were then escorted to the Club Premier Lounge where  snacks and beverages were served courtesy of Oberon Flight Services. An orientation course was conducted by Jet Airways' personnel where the young guests, were explained the many facets of airline operations.

 

The Boeing 737-800 Flight of Fantasy 9W 1671 took off at 11:30 hrs from Mumbai's Chatrapati Shivaji Airport flew along the coastline towards Goa and returned after 45 minutes . The children were enthralled to meet and interact with Bollywood Stars Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan who readily accepted to participate in these celebrations.
