Yesterday, about 1,900 employees were laid off by Jet Airways . These sacked Jet Airways' employees continued their protest against the company today.

Preveen Dadekar, Atul Sarpotdar and Nitin Sardesai of MNS met Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO of Jet Airways and there were reports of Shiv Sena shutting Jet counters at airports in Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata.
Whereas, it is believed that Kingfisher is recruiting people online. Naresh Goyal, the Founding Chairman of Jet Airways has communicated with Raj Thackeray and is most likely to meet him in the next two days. Until then no decision is expected.
