Following a notification from the Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of India, Jet Airways advises all its passengers travelling on domestic sectors to carry only one piece of hand baggage, including a laptop of prescribed maximum permissible dimensions, in view of the heightened security at all airports in India. 
 
Check-in counters at all airports will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of flights on the domestic sectors. Passengers are advised to report at least 90 minutes in advance of the scheduled flight. 
 
Hand baggage would be examined at the check-in counter as well as at the ladder point by the airline security staff.
 
On all international flights, no hand baggage would be allowed. Personal items, as prescribed will be permitted to be carried in a transparent plastic bag. 
 
Passengers are advised to report at least  three hours in advance before the scheduled departure for international flights to a inconvenience. Check-in counters will be closed 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the flight.
