Additionally, Mr Prock-Schauer said, "We have recently been designated by the Government of India for operating flights on the India-Thailand route. We will commence daily Boeing 737-800 flights from Kolkata to Bangkok as also from Delhi to Bangkok effective January, 2007".
Jet Airways has recently received the third Boeing 737-800 with In-flight Entertainment System (IFE), which will operate on the Delhi-Bangalore-Chennai-Coimbatore sectors. Over the next one year, the airline will induct six more new generation aircraft with winglets, which will replace the existing Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
