The next time you take a flight within the country, don't be surprised if you can hear your favourite numbers, watch that latest action flick or take lessons from management gurus. Well, after Kingfisher Airlines, Jet Airways too has launched inflight entertainment, reports CNBC-TV18.

Unlimited TV while in flight; for years leading international airlines have pampered passengers with IFE or In Flight Entertainment. And now with Jet Airways launching it on some of its flights, domestic carriers are also extending this facility. Other than watching TV, one can also play video games on these flights.

"With this inflight entertainment system that we've introduced, the passenger is in command so that he can stop the film, go somewhere else and continue to watch the film. That's what it is called inflight entertainment, video and audio on demand," said Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, Chief Operating Officer, Jet Airways.

And all that at the touch of a screen, which are among the biggest offered by any Indian carrier. But with Kingfisher Airlines offering IFE to passengers for over a year now, Jet has been a little slow in launching it.
