In the wake of recent terror threats at airports in the United Kingdom and a high alert at all airports across the country declared by the Government of India, Jet Airways has advised its passengers that all cabin baggage must be processed as check-in baggage while transiting through UK airports.

Jet Airways will not levy any excess baggage charges on one piece of such cabin baggage per passenger when it is processed as check-in baggage due to the new security measures.
