Jet Airways, India's premier airline, has cancelled/combined some of its flights between October 20 and 24, 2006 to meet capacity with demand on account of the Diwali festival and long weekend.
The following flights on the airline's network have been cancelled from October 20 to October 22, 2006. 9W465/466 (Chennai-Bangalore-Chennai) has been cancelled and combined with 9W 485/486 and will depart at 1715 hrs to arrive in Bangalore at 1800 hrs. On the return leg it will depart Bangalore at 1955 hrs and arrive in Chennai at 2040hrs.
Similarly, on October 23 and 24, 9W 497/498 (Bangalore-Chennai-Bangalore) has been cancelled and combined with 9W 803/485. 9W 803 will depart from Bangalore at 0950 hrs and will reach Chennai at 1035 hrs. On the return route, 9W 485 will operate at 1715 hrs and will arrive in Bangalore at 1800 hrs.
On October 21 and 22, 9W 447/448 (Mumbai-Bangalore-Mumbai) has been cancelled and combined with 9W 441/442 and operate at 1740 hrs arriving Bangalore at 1915 hrs. On the return sector it will depart at 2055 hrs and reach Mumbai at 2230 hrs.
Similarily, 9W 487/2462 has been cancelled and combined with 9W 469/462 and will operate from Mumbai at 2100 hrs reaching Chennai at 2245 hrs. On the return leg, 9W 462 will leave at 2005 hrs and arrive Mumbai at 2155 hrs.
On October 21, 22 and 23, 9W 832/830 (Delhi-Chennai-Delhi) has been cancelled and combined with 9W 726/824. On October 21, a Boeing 737-400 will operate at 1855 hrs reaching Chennai at 2130 hrs. On the return leg 9W 824 will operate at 2035 and reach Delhi at 2315 hrs on October 21, 2006.
On October 21, 22, 23 and 24, 9W 369/370 (Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai) has been cancelled and will be combined with flight 9W 353/352. On these dates, 9W 353, it will depart at 1700 and reach Delhi at 1855 hrs. On the return leg, 9W 352 will depart Delhi at 1400 hrs and reach Mumbai at 1600 hrs.
