ITT India , a 100 per cent subsidiary of ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT), today signed a MoU with GreenSpaces to collaborate for providing its world-class fluid technology solutions for its IT/ITES SEZ planned near Delhi. The SEZ is being promoted by Paharpur Business Centre & Software Technology Incubator Park. The tie-up with ITT is part of the plans to create GreenSpaces as the world's most energy efficient commercial building and Platinum rated LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building under the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) rating system for Green Buildings. "To create a truly green building of world standards, we plan to work with with the world leader in fluid technology as applied to water and wastewater treatment, sewage treatment and recycling of water. ITT's fluid handling solutions proven world over will significantly contribute to our plans to make GreenSpaces the world's most energy efficient commercial building and achieve the coveted status of a Platinum LEED certified building", said Mr. Kamal Meattle, Chief Executive Officer. GreenSpaces. "The IT / ITES SEZ in Faridabad is the first of the GreenSpaces projects. A state-of-the-art, Biotech Park in Sahibabad, U.P. (on Delhi - U.P border) is also proposed to be established to suit MNCs for setting up laboratories. It is planned for opening along with Green Spaces in a SEZ in 2010", said Mr Meattle. The Fluid Technology Group with sales of over USD 3 billion is the largest pump company in the world and a leader in the water and wastewater market. ITT's Vadodara facility will be making core products for two of the three divisions of the Fluid Technology Group and will be expanded as more product lines are bought into India and more divisions plan to invest in India.
