Just a few days before the Shah Committee Report on illegalities in Goa is expected, CNBC-TV18's Mehak Kasbekar caught up with PK Mukherjee, managing director, Sesa Goa and began by asking if a blanket ban is an answer to irregularities in Karnataka and Goa mining operations.

"We don't deny that there are any irregularities or  particularly because of the presence of fly by night operators. I don't think we have stated specifically that all fly by night operators are doing all illegal things. But having said that anything total negative whether it is ban or stoppage, this sort of words I don't think in any sphere of life does any good than harm," Mukherjee said.
