IronPort appoints Thennavan Subbiah, Regional Sales Manager

IronPort® Systems , a Cisco business unit and leading provider of enterprise spam, virus and spyware protection, has appointed Thennavan Subbiah as Regional Sales Manager for Email Encryption for Asia Pacific. 

 

As Regional Sales Manager for Asia Pacific, Thennavan will be responsible for building a business for the Email Encryption Product Line in this region and positioning it within key Enterprise Accounts. He will also be responsible for identifying the opportunities with the sales force in this region. He has been with IronPort earlier in 2003 and moved from the US to India in January 2005 to start the Indian operations for the company from ground-up.

 

Commenting on the appointment, Ambarish Deshpande, Regional Director, India and SAARC, IronPort Systems said, "We are delighted to have Thennavan onboard as his experience in Product Management and Development will help strengthen IronPort's growing presence in Asia Pacific while maintaining and gaining market momentum. Thennavan was recently nominated for the 2007 Achiever's Club. Thennavan has extensive experience in Product Management, Development, and Consulting and has held numerous roles in different capacities with other leading IT companies such as Oracle Corporation, Annuncio Software, Wipro Systems Ltd and a few more. He has completed his B.E. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) from P.S.G. College of Technology, India and an M.B.A (Entrepreneurship and Marketing) from Santa Clara University, USA.
