Adding a new product line in its Power Electronics division, Intex Technologies, one of the leading companies in IT hardware and Electronics has unveiled its range of Tubular Batteries for Inverters. This introduction is the second important expansion in the division after the recent launch of DSP Sine Wave range of Home UPS.
Named as Classic 15000 and Platinum 20000, Intex Tubular Inverter batteries score high on maintainence & efficiency, occupy less space due to compact design and have a comparatively lower recharge time and a longer life span. Classic 15000 has 135 Ah rated capacity and has a life span of 3-4 years. Platinum 20000 is a 160 Ah 'Tower Tubular' battery and could last for 5-7 years.
Along with imported glass mat separators, these models also have thick tubular and pasted flat plates which keep them secure and safe. Classic 15000 comes with a warranty of 24 months & Platinum 20000 has a warranty of 30 months. They are available at a market price of Rs. 6590/and Rs. 8890/- respectively.
As per Mr. Shio Thakur, National Product Group Head, Power Electronics,"A battery plays a very important role in the overall performance of a Home UPS/ inverter. Keeping this in mind, Intex has tried to widen the sphere of its power electronics products with the inclusion of tubular batteries. I believe that this will also give convenience to the consumer as he will be able to buy our Home UPS along with our battery at the same outlet."
