Intelligroup, Inc. a global provider of business consulting, technology, and outsourcing services, today announced a five year contract with Palo Alto, California-based Varian Medical Systems, a manufacturer of cancer treatment and X-ray imaging technology for medical, scientific, and industrial applications.
Intelligroup will provide Application Support Services for Varian's global organization, as well as enhancements to their existing SAP system and creation of interfaces between SAP and external applications. Intelligroup will provide these services using its global delivery model, with resources in North America, India, and Europe. The scope of the application support contract will include order to cash processes, supply chain planning, financials, human resources, and technical development.
Jessica Denecour, Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Varian, said: "Engaging Intelligroup will free up our internal resources for large-scale strategic initiatives while we continue to provide our internal customers with quality support services. We selected Intelligroup because of their deep SAP Application Support expertise and their strong background in medical device industry.
