Infosys BPO all set to call on Latin America
After China and the Czech Republic, Infosys BPO formerly known as Progeon is all set to call on Latin America. The company also plans to set up onshore centres in US and UK in the next 18 months, reports CNBC-TV18.
After China and the Czech Republic, Infosys BPO formerly known as Progeon is all set to call on Latin America. The company also plans to set up onshore centres in US and UK in the next 18 months, reports CNBC-TV18.
The company sees 20% contribution in revenues from all these centres in the next three to four years.
Employees of this BPO sure don't agree with Shakespeare's phrase, "what's in a name". It was just last week that Progeon was rechristened Infosys BPO. Like Infosys Tech , Infy BPO also wants to expand its global footprint.
After China and Czech Republic, the company is looking at Latin America. It will be a 500 seater, which will then be scaled up to a 1000 seater. While there is no fix on the location in Latin America yet, the company wants to use the Latin American facility largely to service US clients.
