A study by research and advisory firm Gartner has found that Indian companies expect their IT budgets to grow by 16.2% this year and that Indian CIOs are going full throttle on cost-effectiveness, reports CNBC-TV18.

"Indian CIOs are first and foremost looking to create competetive advantage, and secondly customer capture and growth, and thirdly they are looking at business process improvement," says Peter Sondergaard, Sr VP, Gartner.
