Impetus organizes Blood Donation Camp in Noida

Impetus Technologies , ( www.impetus.com ), the pioneers in outsourced product development and engineering services today conducted a Blood Donation Camp at its Noida Campus in association with The Rotary Club. The camp is a part of Impetus' Corporate Social Responsibility program. It has also organized a similar camp it's Indore offices today with the support of Rotaract Club of Indore Professionals and the Impetus Wives' Association.

 

A large number of employees turned up to donate blood for the noble cause. As a part of its corporate social responsibility, Impetus encourages its employees to initiate association with various non-profit organizations, NGOs and charitable institutions to conduct various activities that contribute to the social good.

 

The Camp was run by professional doctors, with the utmost care and hygiene and also with all aseptic and antiseptic measures. Each Donor will soon be given a Donor Card along with Blood Report by Rotary Blood Bank within 15 days. The Donor Card will entitle the donor to one unit of blood without paying any processing fee, which will be valid for one year. And the Blood Report will carry a diagnosis on HIV I & II, HBcAb, Hepatitis C, VDRL, Malarial Parasite, Blood Group etc. Report of all Haematological parameters will be enclosed with the Report. Each Donor was also presented with one beautiful Coffee Mug as a memento and appropriate refreshments.

 

Underlining the importance of such corporate initiatives, Shoba Chetty, Director HR, Impetus Technologies said, "Donating blood is our social duty. By donating blood we indirectly save many lives and contribute to brining smiles in many more. Such initiatives create an awakening in the society and we are thankful to Rotary Club for helping us to take up this noble cause. Such events creates a pool of collective responsibility and provide a great feeling to be of some help to someone in need."
